| Tuna Noodle Casserole ©Crystal Miller Double recipe white sauce 1 can tuna, undrained 2 cups whole wheat elbow noodles ½ cup frozen peas, opt. Prepare white sauce, set aside. In a pan of boiling water cook elbow noodles for 10 to 12 minuets. Drain. In a mixing bowl combine noodles, undrained tuna, white sauce and peas. Spray a 9x9 pan with non-cooking spray. Pour tuna noodle mixture into pan. I like to sauté a few chopped up onion pieces if I have them, and put this over the top. Sprinkling cheese over the top is also a nice addition. Bake for 25 minutes at 325 degrees or until hot and bubbly. |
