Iced Coffee
This recipe is so simple it hardly needs a recipe, more like some basic instructions. You pay a good deal of money for an iced coffee in a coffee shop. You can enjoy one at home for pennies.
Here is what I do. I make a few cups of coffee (regular or decaf, your choice) and add my sweetener and milk as if I was going to drink it hot. If you don’t normally doctor your coffee up, then just make it as you normally would. Then I pour the coffee into a quart size jar and put it in the refrigerator. Sometimes I will do this at night and sometimes first thing in the morning. Then in the afternoon when it is hot out I fill a large glass with ice cubes and take my quart of cold coffee out of the fridge and fill up my glass. Sometimes I will add a little chocolate syrup to the cup and stir after I add the coffee. This makes it a Mocha Iced Coffee.
