Honey Glazed Chicken
¼ cup butter, melted
2 T soy sauce
½ cup honey
Chicken pieces, your choice… boneless or not, skinless or not, legs, thighs,
breasts, whole chicken, etc… You will need about 3 lbs.
Melt butter and add soy sauce and honey. Lay chicken pieces in a large baking
pan and drizzle glaze over all. Turn chicken a few times to make sure it is
coated nicely. Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 45 minutes to one hour.
Boneless pieces such as breasts or thighs will take as long, check after about
25 minutes.
This meal can be frozen for an easy to use meal. Simple freeze your chicken
pieces and the sauce in a large (gallon size) zip lock bag. On serving day
remove from freezer and defrost. Put the whole bag of ingredients into your
baking pan and bake as above. This just saves a few steps if you are having a
busy day.
