Cabbage and Tomatoes

 

˝ small onion, chopped (or amount desired)

1 T olive oil or butter

1 head cabbage, cut up

1 t salt

1 t minced garlic

˝ t pepper

1 15oz can diced tomatoes

 

In a large sized cook pot sauté onion in oil or butter.  Add the cut up cabbage and sprinkle the seasonings over all.  Pour diced tomatoes over the top and cover with a lid and turn your burner down to medium-low .  Let this steam and cook until the cabbage is soft and tender.
