Sweet ‘n Sour Sauce
3/4 cup pineapple juice
2/3 cup apple cider vinegar
2T. cornstarch
1/2 cup honey
1t. ground ginger
Mix all ingredients together and bring to a boil. Boil and stir constantly for 1
minute. This makes a lot of sauce, if it is to much, you can halve the recipe.
To make my chicken wings: I buy the big bags of them at Costco. I spread them
out on a jelly roll pan and stick them in the oven and bake them at 375 to 400
for about 30 minutes. They are frozen so they take a little bit of time. When
they are basically all cooked I pull them out and spread the sauce on them and
cook them for about 15 minutes more and pull them out and turn them over, spread
more sauce and bake again. I just keep doing this until they are looking nice
and baked and well done. You could also put them under the broiler to crisp them
up a bit. I have a convection oven and will usually set it on convect bake and
that seems to crisp them up just fine. My kids love these things and 2 jelly
roll pans are usually gone in no time!
